So I have a song that I have been digging as of late. Fire by Kasabian found on the Vlad the Impaler album. During my daily workouts it seem to motivate me. The band carries the sounds that echoes of the doors meets the eagles. The darkness that calls out from the haunting melodies with the mix of tones that echo out of the sixties and early seventies immediate made me love Kasabin. This particular song has made the ranks of my post break-up disc. This group is far more than a continuous build from the Doors, they embody and shape a musical movement that was lost into the eighties. They break through a barrier that will have me listening to more of their music in the future.
