One of my resolutions this year was to blog. For quite some time I have felt the need to establish my presence on the web as a knowledgeable IT professional, or to make such an attempt. My focus will be limited and as frequent as possible. I have searched the web and most of us know there are many DIY (Do it yourself) groups that discuss all facets of technology. Yet as far a site that has well thought-out IT policies and decision there are few. Most excellent thoughts and ideas are not formally published, especially under a Creative Commons license (CC) but under Copyright. My purpose in establishing this blog is to throw ideas out there to the public for review. As ideas begin to formulate into logical policies and procedures I will begin to publish them with acknowledgment under a CC license for all to enjoy.
